Project Intro
For this project we had to create an app for an incoming SU student, that would be given to them on move in day, that would allow them to unlock their door remotely and also access their schedule. I first started out by storyboarding the situation and roughly sketching the skin of the app. I wanted to create two ways to unlock the door, one utilizing the force touch feature on the Iphone home page and the other accessed through the app. For my calendar, I wanted to implement the scroll down feature, to make it simpler to the eye and less confusing to the user. The user would see block colors, an abstracted version of their schedule, they could click on that day, the day displays and they can scroll down to see the break down.
